The ≈ 25% of the LHS of any image is fuzzy, ie slightly out of focus.
I presume it's the chip not quite mounted squarely on.
Put it down to using wide angle at f2.8, but it's there whatever focal
length or f no.
It's in a vertical strip, as I say, ≈ 25% of the image.
A bit like a varifocal spectacle lens, on it's side.
Samsung UK are sending me a prepaid carrier f.o.c. for return and
investigation, very good service there.
And if they don't ( or can't) see the fault, it's only £1.50 charge !!
If unrepairable, replacement or refund, no problem.
It's not really obvious on 6x4 or half A4, but really obvious on 17"
computer screen.
Compared to a recent new camera, which is fine, and shows up the fault
by comparison.
Anyone else had this fault with their digicam ?

I'd guess that the lens or sensor is a tad misaligned or loose. IMO,
sending it off to be repaired was the right thing to do.
