Hi all, I couldn't help but sympathize w/ your terrible experience w/ the
same company (Marine Park) that screwed me over too.

Did you eventually resolve the situation?

I recently bought a laptop off Marine Park's site, and boy did I get
ripped off. The laptop itself was finely priced, but the extras (RAM,
ethernet card) were misrepresented entirely. The "Peter" sales guy who
assisted me lied completely about what the ethernet card could do (replace
a DSL modem), and claimed the RAM I bought was extra fast. I took his
word for it, and found out later that he was full of BS. Ever since I
tried calling the company back and asking for his extension, he's avoided
me and instructed his rude customer service rep to do the same. The
service at this joint is arguably the lousiest I've ever had to deal w/.
Today, I called MP's toll free line, and I received busy signals all day.

Anyways, I know that you had your bad experience awhile ago...sorry to
dredge it up from the past. I just wanted to know if you had any success
(and if so, how you went about doing so) claiming back the amounts you
overpaid. Have any of you filed a complaint/suit in court or contacted
the Better Business Bureau?

Thanks in advance.
