Google ad for their soon-to-fail pixel phone:
"Our most inclusive phone camera lens ever!" WTF does that mean? Note the minorities in the commercial, the emphasis on "diversity." These pandering ads have descended into lunacy.

I didn't know physics was racist.

There was a gem of an article a year or two ago saying that photography
was racist because someone in a television studio expressed
disappointment that a black person was wearing white clothing. It went
into cherry-picked examples of "racism" throughout the history of
photography such as the Kodak colour card featuring a white woman with
blonde hair.

Strangely, the article didn't complain that Fuji is racist because it
has certain film stock only used in Japan balanced for Japanese skin
tones...

don't tell florida. they've already banned roughly half of math
textbooks for that reason.

Florida seems to want mathematics textbooks to be used to teach maths
rather than Critical Race Theory or globo-homo propaganda. How dare
people object to the Marxist-Leninist infiltration of the educational
system through Cultural Marxism?

There are laws in some countries about keeping religion out of schools.
We should do the same for politics.

And for religion.

History is fine in history lessons.

math textbooks teach math. that's why they're called math textbooks and
not some other type of textbook.

that isn't actually happening, despite claims to the contrary.

no.

Then it doesn't matter if Florida removes books that contain CRT and
LGBT propaganda. They're only maths textbooks, after all.

Yes. Why did my seven year old daughter need to learn about a junkie
who was killed by the Police after using a fake $20 bill? This happened
thousands of miles away in another country and my daughter was worried
about it for weeks, having nightmares. All because one of her teachers
decided that an issue in the US was so important that children here
needed to be told all of the gruesome details.

neither of those is propaganda.

if they're only math textbooks, then why ban them?

how is addition or subtraction racist? or algebra or trigonometry for
the older kids?

that's nothing more than the usual right-wing bullshit trying to
justify their racism and prejudice, and from a highly biased source.

because it's actual news and a good example of police brutality and
racism that exists in this world.

is she a minority?

if so, those aren't nightmares. they're reality.

i highly doubt they were told any of the gruesome details let alone all
of it.

some of the kids, maybe most of the kids, heard about it and probably
saw the videos on tv.

Of course they are, in particular CRT.

There's no need if that's all they are.

It isn't. Using them as a vehicle for "social justice" and to promote
white guilt is, however.

That's funny. Leftists always promote the idea of "lived experience" -
if it's a coloured person, a woman or a member of the alphabet people.
When it's a white person, particularly a man, it's a different matter.

Have a look at the Libs of TikTok videos. They contain any number of
teachers proving my point.

Why do seven year olds need to learn about Police brutality and racism
in a foreign country?

Not here they aren't.

Dying apparently from asphyxiation due to compression of the neck is
sufficiently gruesome that a seven year old should not have learned
about it at all.

Not on our television.

Nonsense. Considering the lived experience is a perfectly valid method of
learning about the lives of anyone.

The lived experience of, say, white men is 'known' as they tend to have
written the books about, say, non-white people as well as themselves. And it's
not unknown for them to have bigotted views, or use pejoratives as everyday
language, that find their way into the textbooks.

The progs could have left critical race theory out of the math texts. It was a clear attempt to propagandize.
Now, back to the subject.
