I have a brand new C2100UZ.

The LCD viewfinder seems to have pretty accurate color when shooting, or when
viewing captured pictures.

The larger monitor screen, on the other hand, has a distinctly red cast, quite
noticeable. It makes the larger screen unuseable for anything that involves
judging color.

I'm curious if other c2100 owners have seen this difference between the
camera's two LCDs and whether this sort of variation is normal.

I called Olympus about this, but they are closed because of the snow.

I've noticed that on my 2100 but since there's no setting in the
camera that you can change that effects the color (except white
balance) on the rear LCD, I don't rely on the rear LCD for that
critical detail. When the images are displayed on my computer they
look fine. I mainly use the rear LCD to check composition and
sharpness.

If I had a concern about this, I would take my camera over to Circuit
City, and compare mine to the one they have on display and see if both
LCDs look the same. I'd be satisfied that my camera wasn't defective
if I saw this same coloration on a few other cameras.
