Hello Photographers, Photo Agencies,

We just launched the first online Morphing site worldwide, where users
can morph their own images and images from a library of celebrities,
politicians, and animals directly in their browser. These morphs can
be mailed to a friend, saved a QuickTime movie or screensaver.

The people under the 'people category' are all friends and family.
Of course, for all other images, and there are not many, I will need
the permission of the photographer or photo agency.

It's not just the photographer's permission you may need. You may
need model releases from the people in the photos in order to use
their images in a "commercial" way. The ASMP book "Business Practices
in Professional Photography" has some good info on when and why you
need model releases. I suggest that it would be prudent for you to
investigate this issue. I'm actually trying to help you here:)

Thank you Lisa,
I am going to get "Business Practices in Professional Photography" to
make sure things are ok.

So far the site is not commercial at all and as I said the people
there are all friends but this definitely an important issue.
