Thanks, it was hilarious. The lenses reminded me of a pilot ejecting
from a hobbled aircraft! Sustaining so much damage from a minor
drop. I figure I dropped my old Olympus SLR in similar circumstances
a few times and all that happened was a cracked lens filter and a
slightly dented prism housing but the camera still worked. I did drop
an Olympus E-330, which ricocheted back and forth between big boulders
then came to stop but it sustained no damage. A metal-bayonet lens
would not have come off like that, but would likely have sustained
some damage.
In truth, it's very difficult to duplicate an exact fall, but they did
a good job on this.
