photo software advice

I'm looking for reasonable priced software that would be good for
manipulating images for the web. One feature that I would like but don't
know if it's available is re-sizing multiple images at once.

Any advice would be appreciated or if you can recommend a more appropriate
NG.

PhotoImpact will do all sorts of batch stuff, including resizing. It;s a
fine product.

Recommending software is a bit like recommending underwear.

Depending on what you need, I would recommend either Thumbsplus (which
has some really nice batch processing capabilities that can do a lot
of things including resizing images) as well as creating thumbnail
index pages, or Adobe PhotoshopLE which is excellent for enhancing
images.

PhotoImpact is a superb program for all photo work, and is geared up for
web work too. And it can do a lot with built-in features that even
Photoshop needs third party (expensive) plugins for.

Try Irfanview for batch resizing. I think it is freeware.
