I'm going to buy a Canon G 1 and had planned to go with B & H, which is
where I got most of my film equip. including two EOS 1 n's, various
lenses,etc.
However, I did a search on MySimon and they came up with this MP place and
rated them three stars.
The last quote B & H gave me for the G 1 was 720.00, while MP Superstore is
listed (at least on this site) as selling it for 658.00.
I do trust B & H and don't hesitate to buy from them but this price does
make me at least pause a bit.

buy, I would imagine you could buy from B&H, and then pricematch with this other
vendor to get a check for the difference.

I bought a Coolpix 880 from them 2 months ago. They were friendly, camera
works fine, delivery was on time, no problems whatsoever. And they are dirt
cheap.
However, be careful about S&H and in particular about buying accessories
(they are sometimes 50% more expensive than at other places). And they try
to sell you additional warranty, too.
And from what I've heard from other people they are terrible if and when it
comes to services: returns, customer support, etc. is a nightmare.
For me it was worth the risk: I saved about 150$ (compared to the closed
online competitor) and I don't regret it.
If you want to take the risk is up to you.

on their website so I ordered my Oly 2040Z from them over the phone. The
camera was listed @ $398 but the shipping was 37 bucks! Still, all up, the
price was not bad. The salesman was courteous, and did try to sell me
accessories, but when I declined he did not push the subject. He gave me
his name and the order # and said to expect it in 7 days. It arrived in 5
days with a weekend included. They shipped it in a flimsy box which looked
like someone had done the Mexican Hat Dance on it, and when I opened it the
Oly factory box was bent up as well, with very poor packing. (only a few
peanuts in there for protection) The camera was fine with all factory
paperwork, warranty card, etc. I blame the poor packaging on MP Superstore,
but I blame the poor shape the package arrived in on UPS. FWIW.
