I have a Lumix G3 micro 4/3 with the 14-42 kit lens.
Changed to the G3 as the Nikon D50 coupled with a 28-200 lens I had was
becoming too heavy to use as a walk around camera. (I gave the D50 to my
daughter so my bridges are burnt)
I now would like to add a walk around zoom to the G3. Something starting at
say 14mm and going up to say 140 mm and upwards. I think 140mm should be
ample.
Can anyone please give me some advice on which lens to look at?
Use of the lens will be for touristy type shots. Macro capability would be
lovely but I realise that is asking too much. :-)

The Panasonic 14-140mm is still the best one to use. It's not light-
weight or cheap, but it's good.
First gen is still available.
Second gen, no word on its optics. After what they did to their kit
lens (14-45mm to 14-42mm) I wouldn't want to chance it until the
reviews are in.
