Ehsanul Islam Sadequee was jailed for 17 years, three years less than
the prosecution had requested.
Sadequee, 23, also went to Bangladesh to meet terrorist cells and
tried to help a Pakistani militant group.
His friend and co-defendant, 24-year-old Syed Haris Ahmed, got 13
years in prison and 30 years supervised release.

Yes, they arresting some Brit Anglo (most of the those harassed/

I'll bet those same men went to the toilet too, and a number of other
suspicious things. We should outlaw toilets and anyone with eyes on
their heads and the ability to send emails to bad people. They couldn't
have helped the terrorist plot without the ability to go to the toilet;

I think the UK, the US, and indeed the rest of the world, should just go
back to the practices used before the Iron Curtain in E. Germany. When all
shop, street, and town name signs were removed and all maps were destroyed
due to their own paranoias. Then those nasty terrorists couldn't find
anything and win their war. Shut down the GPS satellites too just to be
sure. Might as well shut down all camera manufacturing plants too and make
it illegal to own all those terrorists' tools (cameras, GPS units, maps,
phones, etc.). We wouldn't want those nasty terrorists changing life as we
know it, now, would we. If that happens, controlling the behavior and laws
of all others through their own insecurities, fears, and paranoias, then
they've won.

On the other hand many of the Old Religions did little or no harm.
The states that have implemented "No Religion" states have not tended to
be the nicest places to live. I can understand the logic of the
intelligent few who decided it but it does not work for the masses.
Most were a reaction to the excesses of the various Religions they
through out.
On the other hand Islam has really only sunk to the depths of
Christianity recently. Most "Islamic" countries over the centuries were
more tolerant of other religions than the Christian were.
Besides you only have to look at Israel to see what happens if you
surpress a religion. They are one of the most inhuman and murderous
regimes about and it is all in the cause of religion.
So Lets kick out the unholy trinity of Judaism, Christianity and Islam
and have a Traditional winder festival with all the Traditional things
from the Old Religions.... Holly, Ivy, Mistletoe, Decorated Trees,
decorated houses, Plum pudding & feasting, St. Nick. And the giving of
presents (moved back to the original date of the 6th December) etc
Actually there is virtually nothing in Christmas that is Christian.
BTW most of the "traditional" Christmas Carols are only 1-200 years
old... the ones that predated them were not AFAIK exactly "carols" as we
know them.
