Jobo web site: http://www.jobo-usa.com
When Durst (Italy) discontinues a model, they support it for only a few years,
after which they will not provide parts, manuals, or reply to any questions
from users. Any user of an older Durst model would be better off inquiring of
the regional European distributors and searching the Web for dealers in used
parts, photo equipment manuals, Ebay, etc.
Durst has gone through a number of unsatisfactory distributors over the last
20 years [pre-Jobo], Part of the problem as been that consmumer products and
commercial units were sold through different distributors, and the consumer
products were never seriously supported. Jobo only recently took up the cause.
Jobo is responsive and they have some good information on their website, but
their ability to support older models is totally compromised by lack of
factory support.
If Jobo wants to do the users of "fatory orphans" a service, they might host a
bulletin board on their website specifically for owners of abandoned models to
share information, list used parts and accessories for sale, etc.
