Hello.

Would appreciate if someone could confirm whether the use of the K screen
on the F4 requires exposure compensation
in the standard finder.

i recently bought a K screen from Adorama. Unfortunately,
the instructions were entirely in Japanese.

i just tried calling nikon usa. unfortunately, they're closed for Christmas.

thanks and happy holidays!

According to the focusing screen chart, the K screen doesn't require
any compensation.

I have it. It doesn't. I find it really useful for manual focus lenses.

Why didn't you buy the E screen? The grid pattern is a great help in getting
horizons horizontal, putting things at the third points, etc.

By the way, the F4 screens fit an F3. They are somewhat brighter.
