My sister took in a rabbit that a friend of hers got as a pet for her 4 and
5 year old (you know how that went). This rabbit, due to nature or nuture,
is very aggressive, toward people as well as other rabbits (I have a bonded
pair, we tried to introduce him to the female over a few days, not pretty).
She has gotten him neutered, but that didn't seem to help. She was only
planning on fostering him temporarily, because she is highly allergic.
However, neither of us can in good conscience find him a home, for we are
convinced that after a week of his meanness, he'll be at a shelter. Please
help!!!

Thanks in advance.

Train him so he only attacks on command! ;-)

It appears that maybe only time will tell - and sometime time means MONTHS.
Rabbits don't like change much. Also, the experience with the young children
may have made the rabbit very defensive.

The rabbit-to-rabbit introduction should first be done by a side-by-side cage
placement and a chance for the aggressive rabbit also to see how the other
rabbits interact with you. I'm certain that others will indicate their
ideas....

Sounds like this bunny was probably not treated well by the
children.....shudder. This bunny will take a lot of patience and time. Try
and find a home where they have great patience!!! My buns are not very
people friendly but they love each other! I don't really force more
interaction then they like so they are happy just hanging together all day.
I wish they were friendlier but I have accepted them as they are. Good
luck!!!
