I read a quote at one time that went something
like:

If dogs are not allowed in Heaven then I dont want to be there.
Any ideas who first said this and what the exact quote said?

As I remember it, the quote was:
If dogs aren't allowed in Heaven,
Then when I die, I want to go where they went!
Sorry I can't recall the author.

I have the quote as: "If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die
I want to go where they went."
Unfortunately my source lists the author as "unknown".
There is also Jame's Thurber's quote: "If I have any beliefs about
immortality, it is that certain dogs I have known will go to heaven,
and very, very few persons."
