put my dog's picture on the WWW?

Hi all,

I've got a scanned image of my dog Maggie (the beagle/dachschie mix
with separation anxiety) and I'd like to put it on the WWW. Rather
than make a homepage myself, I'd like to put the image in the ftp
site for dog pictures (you know, the one run by Mike Beuning I think
it is). Has anyone here done that, and who do I contact?

Most of the r.p.d. dog pictures are in Michael Buening's archives:

http://www.nd.edu/~mbuening

and can be viewed from there.

To submit a gif or jpeg to be entered into his WWW .... uses anon FTP
to nowaksg.chem.nd.edu and PUT the picture into the incoming directory.

Then, submit a comment about the picture via email to:

dog-...@nowaksg.chem.nd.edu

They will then set the file up. For examples of the comments, read
the PICTURES.LIST in the dog area at: http://www.nd.edu/~mbuening.
