I create pet portraits in the colored pencil medium and work from a photograph
of your pet. The amount of detail I can include depends on the quality of
detail in your photograph. The photo of your pet should be a sharply focused
color print and taken as close up as possible because I like to capture the
individuality of your pet. If your pet is very dark, be sure the photo is
light enough to show any distinctive markings or details. I can delete
collars, harnesses, etc.

Samples of my work and more details are at my website which is located at
http://woodstock.csrlink.net/~tirinis/portrait.htm.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at

Very nice. I have a couple of suggestions though. I hope you
don't mind. Those pictures take a very long time to load. At
least they did for me, do they for you? If you scanned them at a
lower resolution, I don't think you would lose quality, while
reducing the load time. I have scanned several at 72dpi that I
could not tell the difference from a 300dpi and it loaded much
quicker. You might also want to make them open in another browser
window so that its possible to read your website while you wait
for these to load. People just aren't very patient these days.

I have another idea, and I really hope this is not taken as
unsolicited advice. In large cities I see they some have made
very successful businesses out of things like dog washes....you
know like car washes? they take care of dogs in various ways, and
I have heard some of them are quite impressive and do brisk
business for people who can afford such a thing. It might be
worthwhile to see if you could reproductions in a visible place
like that in your city to create business and a name for yourself.
good luck!
