Please help! My 6 y.o. female is in heat and my 3 y.o. male is driving
us crazy, crying and whining constantly. I am now the object of his
affection. Any advice on what to do? Medications?? Thanks.

Yes. Here's my advice. Read and follow the advice of MANY posters
to this news group! Unless you are a breeder, you dogs should have been spayed
and neutered years ago! Your female would be facing far fewer health problems
in later years, your male's "lust" factor would be greatly reduced and you
wouldn't have to be posting your question to this newsgroup! BTW, it's still
not too late to get your dogs "fixed."

Is there a reason they're both still intact? Neutering them both
would solve this problem and prevent a host of others.

Way to go Al!

I can't believe they would put up with that nonsense for that long
without coming to that conclusion. Surely their vet said something? Very
lucky haven't had other more serious problems!

I show Dogs , they haft to be intact. Is there such a thing as lust buster? I have an old school tip.. use vicks around the females base of tail and on the noses of the males. Keep your female clean this helps keep the hormone levels low.Sometimes as a last alternative you can board the males for 7 to 10 days and eliminate the whole problem... :)

Hi Al Wojcik

I do not know who you are but go %$%$ yourself. Who are you to give them sh&*t about their dog and how long bullshi*t. They asked a question and you will answer it with respect.
