Yes. Here's my advice. Read and follow the advice of MANY posters
to this news group! Unless you are a breeder, you dogs should have been spayed
and neutered years ago! Your female would be facing far fewer health problems
in later years, your male's "lust" factor would be greatly reduced and you
wouldn't have to be posting your question to this newsgroup! BTW, it's still
not too late to get your dogs "fixed."

Is there a reason they're both still intact? Neutering them both
would solve this problem and prevent a host of others.

I can't believe they would put up with that nonsense for that long
without coming to that conclusion. Surely their vet said something? Very
lucky haven't had other more serious problems!
