If you have encountered bad vets or trainers or other dog BUSINESS
people who are incompetent, negligent, and possibly unethical too, you
may think there isn't any entity or process in place which will deal
with your complaints, and advertise the shortcomings and even
maliciousness of the aforementioned. You may feel frustrated and
helpless.

There didn't used to be any place you could easily access. You couldn't
expect or receive any help or satisfaction from 'governing' bodies like
kennel clubs, veterinary or trainer associations etcetera. But now an
organization, which has existed for many years, but only recently in
such a useful online format, can theoretically clean up dog industries,
if you and others invest a few minutes to help.

At http://www.bbb.org/bureaus/index.html you will find the
following;
_______________________________________________

"Locate a BBB

There are over 130 Better Business Bureaus located throughout the United
States. Complaints and inquiries about a specific company should be
addressed to the BBB where the company is located. Use the zip code
search or the BBB state directory to locate which BBB to contact.

Canada is serviced by 20 Better Business Bureaus. Use the Directory of
Canadian BBBs for a listing of the offices serving each province.

Zip Code Search

BBB service areas are defined by zip codes. To find the U.S. BBB that
handles a particular area, enter the 5-digit zip code in the search form
below. You will be connected to the BBB's web page, which contains
addresses and other contact information.

Please note that zip codes for which there is no BBB service, and zip
codes assigned to the U.S. government, will not return a BBB address.
Please check with your local BBB or State Office of Consumer Protection
for assistance."

Yes it's none other than the Better Business Bureau. Although you may
not have thought of dog 'breeding' as a business, because 'breeders' so
often tell you they are "dog lovers" and they breed "for love not
money", breeding, and all the other related results of 'breeding' are
BUSINESSES.

Simply by entering and sending your dog related complaint online, you
may save some other person from making the same mistake you did, and
another dog from suffering the consequences. If many dog people begin to
fill Better Business Bureau databases with information about
unsatisfactory service and unsavory dog industry people, as well as
advertise the existence and use of the Better Business Bureau online,
then dogs and their human companions will benefit greatly.
