HELP!! I need a dog trainer!

I recently moved to Belleville, New Jersey. I adopted a dog about 8 months
ago. She is about 3 years old. From the look of her, she is part labrador
and part pit bull. She was extremely abused, therefore, she is very timid
and afraid of most people and almost all men. She is a very lovable and
well behaved dog. That is, until she becomes afraid. Recently, she has
started to show signs of aggression. I am becoming very concerned. She is
an extremely powerful dog. When I walk her or take her outside, if she
comes too close to someone, she almost always goes after them. I am afraid
we will come to close to someone and she will hurt him. I despirately need
help. Does anyone know a trainer in this area who is good with this kind
of situation?
