Suprisingly, we don't yet have all those toys, so you're gonna need to be a
wee bit more specific.

Oh well. It was some stacking type toy, very similar to the ones
for toddlers that are plastic. OF course this one had a bone shape
for the main piece instead of stick and then all the pieces were made
of circular material. It looked kind of fun. But who knows what a dog
would think. Probably my parrots would enjoy it more. LOL

Puzzle Plush Intellibone Dog Toy.
THE PUZZLE PLUSH
INTELLIBONE DOG TOY
Challenge and develop your dog's
intelligence and puzzle solving skills
with this very advanced dog toy
Dogs have great fun removing the rings!
The IntelliBone also entertains for long
periods of time. It helps develop eye-paw
coordination skills as they learn to remove
the squeaker rings from the plush bone.
Squeaker rings may be returned to the bone
again and again for endless fun and your
dog's entertainment.
Machine washable fabric is made of safe,
non-toxic all new materials. Soft fabric helps
clena dogs' teeth.
Getting
Started with
the
Intellibone:
1.Introduce
To begin play,
introduce the
rings in front of
your pet by
sliding them on
and off the
bone several
times while
simultaneously
squeaking and
shaking them.
2.Play
Let your dog
learn and
discover how to
remove the
graduated
squeaker rings
from the
IntelliBone. The
dog will use its
mouth and
paws to
maneuver the
bone and
gradually learn
how to remove
the rings. By
successfully
removing the
rings from teh
bone, your
pet's innate
"stalk and
conquer the
prey" instincts
will be
satisfied.
3.Repeat
...again and
again.
After your dog
has removed all
the squeaker
rings from the
bone, replace
them and
repeat again
and again for
unlimited fun
and activity.
Tips: How
your dog will
best enjoy
the
Intellibone.
1.Your dog will
most be
attracted to
IntelliBone if
your scent is
on the toy. To
best transfer
your scent to
the toy, we
recommend
you place it in
your laundry
basket of
already worn,
but
unlaundered
and dry,
clothes for a
minimum of
12 hours
before
introducing it
to your pet.
2.Next,
introduce your
dog to the
rings by
removing them
from the bone
and playing
with them
interactively
with your pet
for a few
minutes.
3.Once your pet
is engaged
and interested
in the rings,
place the
rings back
onto the bone.
Squeak them
several times
after they have
been placed
onto the bone,
and let your
dog go from
there. After
your dog has
successfully
removed the
rings from the
bone, you
may replace
them
repeatedly for
maximum fun,
entertainment
and skill
development.
4.Many dogs
also enjoy
playing with,
and
squeaking,
the rings while
the rings are
still on the
bone.

My dogs would *really* enjoy it. At least for the 30 seconds
they'd allow it to exist.

Sorry Janet.
It is the THE PUZZLE PLUSH
INTELLIBONE DOG TOY
Though after reading it over a time or two I do think my parrots would
be more interested than either of my dogs.

LOL! Yeah that sounds so much like Blade. Clovis probably
wouldn't even acknowledge it at all. She really doesn't play
with toys much. I can get her to tug with Blade. She is definitely
a bit different than your average dog.

Kavik and Toklat have an intellibone! A friend bought it for them.
Kavik loves it and loves to pull the rings off the bone.
Toklat likes the rings, but isn't interested in puzzles.

Wonderful! That is a great review as far as I am concerned. If your
dogs enjoy it and us it at all it is worth looking into. Thanks for the
thumbs up!:-)
Gwen
- Ezra wouldn't worry about getting the rings of the bone, she would rip
it to pieces :)

LOL Lone. So would Blade unless I sat and only let him play with
it with me right there. I know many trainers that claim to never let
a dog have a toy. Keep them in a basket and let them have them
when you are interacting with them. Always letting the dog know the
toy is really yours and not theirs? Though I would absolutely think
this would be appropriate with a kong but I can see the reasoning
with some toys, I suppose

We don't have that toy, but I did buy the little plush box with tiny squeaky
balls that is made by the same company. I gave it to Wylie as a puppy and he
played with it for a while but no more so than any squeaky ball type toy.
The "challenge" of getting the balls out lost appeal when he figured out
that he could squeak the balls by biting them while still inside the box.
The other dogs didn't care about it at all.
Someone needs to "invent" the toy that all my dogs would love - a stuffie
that they can pull the filling out of indefinitely, with filling that
disintegrates when it hits the light so I don't have to clean it up.
Christy
The only things I don't let her have all the time is Frisbees and a
special ball on rope that we play fetch with. She would chew them to pieces
in no time if she had them all the time and that is too expensive :)
Lone
I haven't seen it before, and I'd *love* to get it for Madigan. However,
MacKenzie would have it torn apart in 3 minutes.
Though... I could get one and just keep it at work for her...

We have the IntelliQube thing (I think that's the name?) by the
same company. It's a fabric (fairly durable, Coda doesn't try
to rip/chew it apart, however he does drag it, fling it, shake it
all over the place) toy with puzzle openings on each side and
4 small (racquetball sized?) balls, each with a squeaker.
Well, as you can guess, the balls quickly became silent and
the yellow was ripped apart by Bodhi in a Very Short Time.
Coda *loves* to take the balls out. Bodhi *loves* to chase/fetch
the balls (his favorite, and almost the only toy he plays with,
is the Little Red Ball--so it's named).
They're both quite intelligent enough to remove the balls in their
own way, however I wish they were intelligent enough to be
able to put them back inside. That way I wouldn't always have
to do it! (No, on second thought, if they could do that, I'd *really*
be in trouble!)

Please, please, don't anybody else post any good dog-stuff shopping site
addresses! I have discovered a shopping addiction, for the first time in my
life - but only at these sites!
Another $50 on the credit card. :}
And yes, Gwen, I ordered one of those toys. I'll let you know how Madigan
likes it. I can't resist trying "unique" toys.
Actually, that was the only real "splurge." All the other stuff I have to get
anyway, and the prices were pretty good.
I think Blade may like the puzzle.
The rings have different innards. some have cellophane crinkling, some
squeak and some are plain. Tok loves the cellophane ones,.
When i gave the toy to Kavik and showed him how to get the rings off,
because he couldn't figure it out on his own, I told him "I bet Solo could
get the rings off all by himself, with no instruction"

Nodding head agreeing totally. Blade used to play nice with stuffed
toys until he figured out when he tore them apart pulling the stuffing
out of them was much more fun and intriquing.

Melanie I wouldn't be surprised if Solo replaced them either. Especially
if you worked with him the first couple of times. I can see him mastering
the toy to tell you the truth.
I sort of think Blade would do the same if he was interested enough
and I made enough of a game out of it. Though as others have
mentioned he probably would destroy quite quickly given his own
devices.
Solo doesn't sound like a destroyer to me. But rather analytical.

She is definitely a bit different in that respect.

Gosh do I ever relate to that addiction. I just got in J & J magazine
that has lots of agility equipment but so much more. Great toys,
great videos, one I am definitely getting for training by Ivan B.,
books ect. By the time I was finished with the flyer I had
probably checked off over $300.00 worth of must have
doggie things. But I haven't ordered yet.
I did buy at Pets Mart yesterday the new "puppy kong"
which is softer and more flexible than the other kong.
I can't wait to stuff it, freeze it and serve it to Reznor.

That would certainly be the one that I would have
to play with him with. Otherwise it would be
history rather quickly.
Blade still loves destroying 2 liter coke bottles.
He loves make the sound and squeezing them.

"Plush" is all I need to know that it wouldn't last 2 seconds in this house!

LOL, Janet! It could/would last in my house only if I sat down
and played with it with them and once they started showing
signs of lets pull the fiber out, it would be time to put it
up. It certainly couldn't lay around as it would be instant
history.
