Hi Mr. Scott,
I have a two-year-old kitty, Nick, who also loves vigorous petting.
His belly is his favorite spot for lots of rough Love. He's only,
and still has a long way to go but so far, I have not broken him.

Dave likes it okay, but purrfurrs to be scratched and stroked.
Fender-Bender only comes up to pet me once in a while and would
not put up with it for a minute. S'tinker, my SO's cat, will
only allow you to pat her head, so that' out...
Kinda miss it...
(Both of my cats are smallish, btw.
