Hi all,

My dog has become afflicted with an occurrence of what is
known to me only as "wolves", which are little worms I have
only seen before in cats and squirrels.

Does anyone know what "wolves" really are, and how to get
them out of my dog?

Jaguar the Afghan hound thanks you!

Rex

Would those "wolves" happen to resemble little grains of rice? If so,
your dog has tapeworms. The rice-like things are actually small
segments of a much, much longer worm. Good news: One little pill from
the vet is all it takes to rid your pal of these gross parasites.

Best of luck! Kimberley

You'd be better off asking on rec.pets.dogs.health.

This newsgroup (rec.pets.cats) only deals with cats.
