He is young and looking for his mother. My Sam did the same thing
once when he was a kitten "Ouch".

Maybe as a stray he didn't get the love and attention from his Mommy that
he needed. I have a kitten (Tux) who was abandoned and I think he
suffers from the same complex because he must always cuddle any time I am
home, and every night he gets in bed with me and suckles on my finger.

My siamese tried to nurse on me twice when he was just a kitten. The first time it shocked me so
much that I yelled at him (and felt VERY bad about it afterward 'cause i could see it hurt his
feelings). The second time I was prepared and let him try till he quit. I guess he was disapointed
that there were no yummys there and never tried again. The catch to all this is that I'm a male - so
this was a very unusual (not to mention unexpected) experience. (hope I handled it ok, guess I did
though cause now he's my best buddy)

His big British Blue (Mr. Kitty) was very playful with swinging
objects--so my friend had to be very careful when he came out of the
shower, or..... oh, the pain!

I hope this isn't too graphic, but you know how kittens like to grab for
something that is disappearing into another place?
Our kitty with those tiny, super sharp, kitten claws was under the covers
and... OUCH!!! HOLY #$@!!! We should have known better.

Well, your cat obviously wasn't weened (sp?) properly. Probably taken away
from his mother too early, and therefore still tries to "feed". It's a
comfort thing for them, and will usually stop when they get older (my cat used
to suck on my earlobe for a few months when I first got her).

bottles! We have to be really careful where we leave finished bottles. So far
the dishwasher is the only safe place - she'll pluck them out of a bowl of
water in the sink!

the hottest summers (and it gets HOT in japan!) i had to wear something to
bed or be attacked! fortunately, she always approached them in slow
motion, her mouth opening wider and wider, sneaking up on them, so if i
was actually awake i could quickly cover up! but if i wasn't paying
attention... ouch!

It may not necessarily stop, my cat is five years old and licks my nipples...
