I need to move the litter box from one location (entryway) to the
bathroom. What should I do? Move it and keep the cat in there all day
so he gets the idea? Or is there a better way to do it.

Cats have a better memory than you think. Just show him a couple of times
and he should remember where it is. I've moved my cat a couple of times
now and this works for me.

I recently moved my new kitten's litterbox when he graduated to having
the run of the whole house. My situation was a little different -- there
already was another litter box in the spare bathroom. When my little boy
got big enough to climb into the bathtub, I just let him watch me move
his box next to the other box. After a week, I eliminated one of the
boxes. Since you're establishing a new location, I suggest getting a new
box and leaving the old one where it is for a while. Keep showing your
cat where the new one is, and if he forgets, the old one will still be
there. Then I think you can eventually eliminate the old box. Hope this
helps. Good luck!
