Hi there everyone. You'll all remember me, I got the new kitten last
Monday night and was asking for helpin naming her. While asking for
help, I noted that a long time ago (back when I was a kid...) about
three years ago, when I first started reading rec.pets.cats, I would
find, from time to time, a MASSIVE list of cat's names.

This list hasn't turned up anywhere I've been looking.

So, here's what I'd like to do, with everyone's permission (and here's
hoping my Email account can handle this... <grin>):

Email a list of your cat's names, living or in Kittie Hevean, and I will
compile "CatNames '96". Please include the gender of your cats as well
please. If your cat has a shortened version of their name (not nicknames)
include them in brackets.

Example:
"Buddy" male
"Katie" female
"Maxwell House" (Max) female

... oh yeah, and let's not clutter the newsgroup with the posts, just Email
directly to me, and I'll post, say once I get a few hundred names or so. I
know the "old list" had something silly like 5,000 unique cat names.

Thanks all, hope to hear from you soon...

Baby Girl Brat Puss: She is just a little brat of a cat.

All three of them are completely SPOILED!

That's very interesting, as one of my cat's name is Misha; i.e. the
affectionat term of Mikhail, as in Gorbachev! I always call him my
Russian Cat, as he has thick fluffy fur for those long winters.
My other cat's name is Dublin - he's kind of rough around the
edges, same as the city...
Cheers! Nicole --
