I don't know that I can say that "my" cat is better than anyone elses,
but let me relate how I became a cat lover. I not young (maybe not
old either :), late thirties and have never had a cat. The cats that
I have known before this (only a very few) were very standoffish and
not very friendly at all. I was never interested in cats until a
fateful night about 3 months ago. One night, my wife and I arrived
home from work. I was late, and had to get on the interent to play
bridge with a friend, so I rushed in to the PC. My wife followed with
this grin on her face, and all of a sudden, I heard meowing. A
beautiful gray cat followed her in the house. We got him out of the
house, but found that her son was feeding him and that's why he had
ben hanging around and sleeping on our back porch. The next weekend,
I bought him some cat food. My wife siad, if we are going to have a
cat, it was coming indoors. The rest is history. This cat is the
friendliest, funnest cat I have ever met. He talks to me when I
wake up, we play the "head butt" and petting routine. I get home
from work, and we repeat it. He loves playing with toys. I could
not have found a better cat if I had serached for one. I tell
everyone he adopted me :). Anyway. I am now a very happy cat owner.
and I had my eye on a pretty little orange cat the other day . . .
