Looks like a Russian Blue to me.

I'm not sure, but it looks like a Russian Blue to me. Any other ideas?
Or a Chartreux or a British Shorthair (I think that's what it is
called). Or just a domestic. Blue is a dominant gene and many
domestic cats are blue, so it doesn't necessarily mean it's a
purebred. It looks like my cat (but of course my cat is better
looking, and I don't feed him Sheba!).

Nope. The Sheba cat is a blue British Shorthair. Russian Blues are much more
lithe. The little round head and the little ears above those round, copper eyes
are a dead giveaway. Russian Blues also have green eyes. I would guess the
Sheba cat is either a female or a neutered male, given the lack of jowls.

No, it's not a Korat. The face shape is wrong, and so is the fur quality. The
body type is also wrong, and so is the tail. The Sheba cat is a blue British
Shorthair, either a female or a neutered male due to lack of jowl development.

It doesn't look quite like a russian blue to me. It is similar but the face on
the TV cat is flatter. I am not an expert but I think this cat is the other
(european) blue and not the russian one. They are very similar though.
BTW, If you are considering a purchase I highly recomend the RB. We have
one and he is just like the books describe; Quiet, Calm, Affectionate, and
lots of thick pretty-colored fur. Of course, I may be biased since I have one.
:)
(I have to say this because my cat proof reads all outgoing mail.)

Thank you! I have been wondering. Several people have thought it was a Russian
Blue. I was _pretty_ sure it was not since I have a Russian Blue and they
looked pretty different to me.
I gotta remember that, Korat, Korat, Korat.
BTW: Is your cat a Korat? If so, would you please describe their traits here?
Tempermant? Voice/Talkativeness? etc...

On the side of the Sheba package is the address of the manufacturer. Why
don't you call them and ask for Customer Service. Tell them there is a
debate on Internet about this. They'll get a kick out of it. Then you
can settle it once and for all.
