Tomorrow will be a special day--the 14th anniversary of the day I adopted
Holly. My dear, sweet, beautiful little girl. She is truly a one-person
cat, and I am the lucky person she has chosen to love.

Happy annifursary, darling Holly. It's your special day.

Three cats grab their back paws and roll on the floor laughing. "Did you
see that human wrote? She said SHE adopted Holly and we all know it was
the other way around." Anyway we wish them many more years to be together.

Oh, we agree over here. Especially as she is a one-purrson cat. She
did the choosing and isn't it nice to see them together all this
time.

Hooray! Happy Anniversary!!

I will not sniff at my male human's feet after he takes his shoes off,
freeze my mouth open in disgust and then sniff my private parts to compare
odors. My female human might find it amusing, but my male human does not
appreciate it, especially in front of company. -- Cat Resolutions

These dates become even more meaningful, the older our cats get.

I wasn't around that long ago, I'm sorry to say.

I hope you have many more happy years together.

My beloved Blizzard (RB) lived to 18, and was only sick the last week or
so of her life.

I'd like to see Holly better that :)

Yes, so would I. My first cat lived to age 20. He was active and
extraordinarily healthy until 18-1/2. His health steadily diminished during
his last 6 months, but I kept going until it was clear he could not have any
more quality of life. Holly is still vigorous and healthy. She does not
seem like a "senior" cat, but I do have fears as I look at the years
passing. She was born in June of 1995.

I just decided to click on that link - what a beautiful girl! I probably
have seen her picture before, but I didn't remember what she looked like.
Great pictures!
