I've had that with each of my cats over the years and never figured it out.
Every so often a cat will go off somewhere and sleep 24 hours straight,
then wake up ok as if nothing had happened. I used to get worried, but now
I wait a day, and sure enough, all is fine.

They do like to scare us, don't they? I'm glad she seems okay today.

I hope she's OK! Please keep us posted.

TuTu has a day like that from time to time. If it continues, I'll give
her a dose of Laxatone or Petromalt. After a
bm her appetite returns. Some days are just like that. Good luck. MLB
I'm sorry I missed your post, yesterday.
Kenzie did the exact same thing: didn't eat on Sunday OR Monday.
Like you, I was really, really worried. Kenzie is well into being a
senior citizen cat, now.
I got her to drink a little water from a can of tuna, but she wouldn't
eat a sardine, her very favorite treat, OR any tuna, (which I would not
normally give her).
I decided to take her to the vet on Monday, but when I called, it was
too late to get an appointment :(
The emergency vet is SO expensive, and she didn't act sick at all; she
just wasn't eating :(
Monday evening, I decided get some hairball treatment, and I gave her a
good dose of it, though she virtually NEVER gets hairballs.
Overnight, Monday to Tuesday, she ate a LOT of her regular kibble.
I canceled the vet appointment.
I doubt she had a hairball; I think her tummy was just upset.
I wish I knew why, though.
Just like you don't know why Amber wouldn't eat :(
What are the 'appetite pills' you use for Amber?

Every day is a treasure with Kenzie; I try to treat them that way. There
will only be so many, and then there will never, ever, be any more.

Cyproheptadine 4mg. 1/2 tablet once daily. These came from my vet.
They didn't help this time because Amber kept spitting the pill out.
