Ping: Mark (Little Boy)

Mark,

Have you made a decision about Little Boy? I called Gully Animal Hospital
to make a donation, but the person I spoke to said it looked like the
surgery (if any) was going to be sent elsewhere. Please let me know if you
are accepting donations for surgery--and, if so, exactly how you would like
them to be directed. My donation will not go very far toward a $2,000
procedure, but it will add up if a number of us do it. Also, I still think
it would be a good idea to seek a second opinion. That amount seems
excessive to me.

How is Little Boy feeling now?

He is even more miserable with the splint and is complaining loudly as he
tries to balance. He is currently in a large kennel cage.

I will call the new animal hospital for a donation, probably on Friday.
Were you pleased with them? And did they have a better price (no need to
give us the amount, just interested to know if the other amount was as
excessive as I surmised)?

Yes, I am happy with them. They have seen all the cats, when my hours and
theirs coincided. And yes, the other vet was very excessive.
