Greetings,

One of our 'keets found a way out of her cage, and somehow managed to
damage her cere; perhaps she flew into a window or object. Her cere is
cracked along its vertical axis and into her nostril as well as along
another line. There is no bleeding nor swelling although a little bit of
granular material is evident over the crack line (probably dried serous
fluid -no pun intended : )). She seems alert, and normal in activity.
Can someone suggest a care plan to help the healing process, and give us a
feel for whether this is a serious injury?

Thanks in advance,

It doesn't sound serious. but I would have it checked by a vet anyway.
