I have a 10-week old parakeet and he is not using his cuttlebone. Will he
learn to use it? When should he be using it?

At ten weeks he probably doesnt know what it is yet. Just leave it and he
will enjoy it when ready

My budgie never would use a cuttlebone. So, what I do is scrape the cuttlebone
(into fine powder or tiny chunks) over his treats (Nutriberries) and he eats it
that way.

Fred never uses his cuttlebone and he's a year and three months old. He
uses his Polly's Pastel Perch for his beak. I've had to trim his nails
twice (once when we got him and once about two months ago). His beak
has never needed trimmed and I think it's because of the perch.
