Just what caused the Carbon Monoxide poisoning?
Carbon Monoxide
heh!!
Good one, you must have a three year old niece
This has happened to others, and for reasons that are not clear, seem
to happen more often on houseboats than other craft. The obvious
cause is generator exhaust leaking back into the boat while people are
sleeping aboard. In some cases this has happened from the exhaust of
another boat in close proximity. On a windless night CO can
accumulate in a cloud around a group of boats and find its way inside
through an open window or vent. A defective exhaust system is another
possible cause. A good battery operated CO detector can be purchased
for less than $50. I bought one for my last boat after reading about
several similar incidents.
Perhaps that is DALE Hollow?
