Does anybody really believe this? If so, why? If not, Why?
Is the radiation exposure more inside a RV because of the confinement?
Hank
Tell them they are right. They should throw their cellphones away as
soon as they can! Just like winter camping. You can't. You should
stay home.
The only tabloid news show worth watching is Onion. Problem is, you
can't really tell if you're watching Onion or the Today show.

It's from the World Health Organization - of course it's wrong.

Definitely suspect. The WHO is one of those UN groups that wants us to
live at the most primitive level so we don't feel superior to people in
some village in darkest Africa. I don't know why they don't relocate
there if they feel that way. They most certainly have my blessing.

The WHO is a political organization, not a pure
scientific organization...that give you a clue?

>It was reported on the TODAY show yesterday that the W-H-O (World
>Health Organization) reports that cell phones cause brain cancer by
>the radiation they emit.

Perhaps. At this point I think it is speculation. Why might it be
true? The radiation from the cell phone transmitting within a half
inch of your brain. And some people seem to have the phone to their
ear hours a day.
>Is the radiation exposure more inside a RV because of the confinement?

I highly doubt it, even in a metal skinned one.
Radiation density falls off proportional to the square of the distance
from the emitter - Inverse Square Law. Doubling the distance from a
transmitter means that the power density of the radiated wave at that
new location is reduced to one-quarter of its previous value.
So with the phone 1" from your ear you are only receiving 25% of the
energy you would if the phone was pressed tightly against your ear.
0.5" > 100%
1" > 25%
2" . 6.25%
4" > 1.56%
8" > 0.39%
16" > 0.01%
...
This is my understanding from memory, it may need correcting.

can't see the problem, most people talk out their arses so the cell phone
will be 4 feet from their brains, unless they are blokes, then their brain
is just around the corner,

Theory don't mean squat if it don't work.

If it doesn't help my theory, how much fat does it have?

The "myth" has supposedly been debunked several times now.
Here is the issue:
http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/cellphones
Here is the incidence of brain cancer, it trends flat to down:
http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/540146_3
OTOh cellphone usage has been steadily increasing. The interesting
non cancer thing I found was this:

Personally I use the hands free mode most of the time.
While it is possible, I still believe the wavelengths are too short to
really cause damage. Even at that, the levels of power are
exceptionally low.
But has there been a SIGNIFICANT increase or a Global Warming type
increase? IOW Friggin phoney data!

And NO there is no more because it is inside an RV.
Pick whatever number you need.
That's why I tossed in the last two links. CAncer is dropping but the
Israeli's claim we get senile faster.
The WHO is a Socialist organization that has as its main thrust, the
conversion of the US wealth to the UN itself. They have ZERO
credibility. Just look at the fraud perpetrated by Al Gore through
these socialist agents.
Only a sycophantic "Warmer" could be so stupid as to ignore the
