Now for the good part, on your first visit you get a free night as long as
you get a players club card and they are available at the RV registration
desk. Once you have their players club card you get $5 off the regular rate
of $25 plus tax. With the discount our site cost us us $21.91 for our
second night.
They also have free WiFi, but it is a bit quirky. Intertnet Explorer worked
fine, but other software like AOL and Windows Live would not connect to the
internet.
A nice place to spend a night or two. It is on our route to and from the
LRGV and very well may become an annual stop going and coming!

When I google Casino I-35 exit 1 in Oklahoma the WinStar Casino comes
up.
Are you sure you stayed at RIVERWIND CASINO when you stopped at exit 1
in Thackerville?
Whatever, thanks for the info. We can go that way when we head to and
from Wyoming and Colorado.

They're both owned but the Chickasaws.

That's the number one rule of home improvement... never give a chick a
saw...
(Unless the chick is Hunter, of course).

God will get you for that. (STR) If he doesn't, Hunter will.

It's 'its'... that ol' sigmonster is batting a thousand this morning.

Q: How can you tell if an elephant is sitting on your back in a
hurricane?
A: You can hear his ears flapping in the wind.

Mike, your right I screwed up, Riverwind Casino is at Norman and the one at
Thackerville (I-35 Exit 1) is WinStar Casino. Sorry about the error.
WinStar Casino is the one I was talking about.

Ron, be careful where you place your reply. You replied below Mike's sig
delimiter (-- ) and most readers either delete anything after that, or
make the text faded an hard to read. I almost couldn't see the reply.

Glad you qualified that <g>

I know how to stay out of trouble... :-)
My ex-SIL once took a sledgehammer and a saw and knocked down a wall
to create a more (as she explained it) open plan for her kitchen/
dining area. When her husband, Donny came home from work, he had to
run to the lumber yard to get some 2x4s for a brace to prop up the
second floor.
She was unrepentant, but now knows what a bearing wall is for.

LOL, jeez....My next door neighbor, in SC, built a garage and put in a
loft.
He nailed in the floorboards where they landed, instead of ending each
one on a joist.
Walking up there was like walking on a water bed.

By the way, Hunter... maybe one of your Airstream buddies might be
interested in this - just posted on Craig's List.

This one is just casinos, but if you get to the casino name and click on
it it will send you to the casino's website where you can see
information about overnight parking and RV parks.

Wow, that was fast.
It was a smallish, older Airstream that had been completely redone -
inside and out. Obviously everybody was as impressed as I was and
somebody got a great deal...
David "The Hamster" Malone
Driving through the back roads here I've spotted several older Airstreams
parked on the back 40 and obviously no longer in use. If I had the space and
was still able to do the work, I'd be tempted to make an offer on one for a
restoration project. I could leave it at the lake and make fewer trips with
the gas guzzler.

Either that or it was an attempted fraud, and was pulled as a public
service. I would prefer that you are right.
