Anybody else notice how, when The Hamster was gainfully employed he seemed
to have nothing but time to post here but now that he's "retired" he hardly
ever shows up? Anyone else figure that's because his wife now has him
actually working, for the first time in his life?

Dunno about The Hamster, but I seemed to have more free time when I was
working a 9 hour day than I do now that I'm "retired".

I'm still gainfully employed until the end of the month, Miller, old
son... got another week or so to go. My 'farewell' lunch is on May
30th and my last day is on the Friday.

Then, maybe I'll have time to post - assuming I'm not too exhausted
after playing golf twice a day :-)

I hope you enjoy your retirement.

I am not a golfer, but "playing twice a day" is kinda misleading isn't it? Do you play 9 holes twice, or 18 holes twice? Or is it just 2 putts?

I can run 30 balls on a pool table, just not all at once. :-)

Thanks, Hank... so do I... :-)

18 holes twice. 18 holes is a round of golf.

Me too... and it might take quite a few racks depending on who I'm
playing.

Well, the above may still apply, then...

You're not a Hamster you're a lucky dog....

I took early retirement at 42, 54 and officially retired at 65. The only
difference is at 65 I would accept no project that had a dead line. If
there was, and I found out. I made it clear I would MISS THE DEAD LINE by a
wide margin.

There has been a lot less stress, at least on my end, as a result. Added
benefit I seem to be enjoying the projects (mostly pro bono) much more.
