Today is the anniversary of the Ride of Paul Revere if you believe the
Longfellow poem.

I learned the first and last stanzas by heart in 7th grade and can
(miraculously) still recite them.

And you're way out of date. A recently discovered video proves that
Paul used a cellfone, and never left the house - much less rode a
horse. You can learn a lot by watching commercials.

Actually, PR only rode 18 miles.
Longfellow used the name because it was already well known.
There was another gent who made the longest ride of nearly 300 miles into
Pennsylvania.
