I'm pretty sure that the picture was taken at Colorado's version of
NC's "Jurassic Park." It is a short section of river that is heavilly
controlled, stocked, fed etc. It produces some big fish (obviously) and
is popular with Denver's pro athletes.

It's actually at NC's "Jurassic Park" where Matt guided. He said the
old man fished better than the son, IIRC. <g>

Matt McRay is the guide. The water is Boone's Fork, trout zoo section.
Some amazing specimens in that stretch. There used to be some public
access waters nearby, but all of lower Boone's Fork on that side of the
mountain is now private water and is being taken off of the state's list
of public trout waters. of course, some of us know a secret trail to a
secret spot with secret trout you can whisper to softly with a dry
fly...

Some of us have heard about your secrets trails there. Is this whispering
done before or after the heart attack? ;)

Now that puts a smile on my face!!!
Seems like a lifetime ago that I dropped out of school to be a trout
bum........

The beer flowed like wine, women fell to their knees in my presence, and I
hobnobbed with celebrities :>)

That was one of the best photos I got, Matt. (You are the shorter guy on
the right with the net, correct? :-)

Sorry I missed you at Waldo's Spring Fling.
