Here is your policeman "Mike Connor" at his finest.
I agree with Mike that the guy posting was a bit out of hand but not
over the line with abuse at all and we do not need your Mr Conner
policing the internet.
Or trying to scare people away so his point of view is the only point of
view left on the news groups.
This one is from "rec.outdoors.fishing.fly"............

Thank you
Russ H.

You are once again advocating sabotage, wilful damage and attempted
murder.
This is a criminal offence in most countries, irrespective of where you
do
it. I wonder what would happen if somebody went to the trouble of
reporting
you to the authorities? You obviously rely on your well earned
reputation
as a nutcase to protect you from any serious consequences, but quite a
lot
of people are getting seriously sick of you, and nutcase or not, some
are
liable to take action anyway.

I would be most interested in some legal opinions on whether incitement
to
commit a felony is sufficient grounds for charging a person in America.

I posted this for your viewing pleasure Mr. Conner because you did the same thing to me when it came to trying to scare me away from the internet and news groups.

Oddly enough I was of the opposite opinion that Mr.g/America and yourself were on, yet it seems to be a habit of yours if someone disagrees with you then do everything you can to scare them away.

Guaranteed: I was the wrong person to bluff.
A copy of your ANTI-FREEDOM of speech has been sent to ab...@t-online.de for their viewing pleasure as well.

Well, I'm sure he sleeps all the better knowing this bit of wonderful
news. I sure felt a wave of relief just knowing you agree with him (and
most of ROFF).

Oops, and we were so, well, you know, right there...

A) It is USENET, B) "We" need everyone stopping things like "Mr.G"

Oh, wait...Mike, have you been surfing in the PC get-up again? If so,
watch it... Russ and whomever he represents are the bosses (Gore,
maybe?) and seem rather PO'd... On a personal note, the bobby helmet
just ain't flattering, you kinda look like a Rowan Atkinson parody.
Sorry, man.

Which you admit you don't follow, so why dance on your dick with hobnail
boots? Trust me, unless you're sandbagging, you're not even good enough
to hold many coats around here - you'll get beat, battered, and bruised,
and then ignored. Try rec.clueless.newbie.hepmejeezus.

hmmm...well Russ, now that you mention it...based on the substance of
your posts here so far, i think you'll spend your time more profitably
sequestered in your log cabin reading and thinking (or watching TEEVEE),
or perhaps by cutting down the trees on your land, instead of posting
the twit-tripe you've been trying to sell here.

...but...if you need or want to learn a bit about flyfishing (along with
a number of other things that "might" prove illuminating to you), you
should stick around and read some of Mike Conner's many instructive and
helpful posts.

Jeff,
You give him so much more credit than he deserves. If he'd read the
post, and the ones that proceeded it, he obviously didn't spend any time
thinking. So the reading and thinking parts are out.
It is every ones responsibility to report a crime. But first, one
must think rationally about what crime has been committed. Is it a
violation of one's First Amendment Rights to ask if a crime has been
committed? If some one asks a question, and you attempt to shut him up, are
you not violating that person's First Amendment Rights? Can some one in
Austria, Germany or Poland be prosecuted for violating an American's First
Amendment Rights? They are not subject to the US Constitution. Is it a
crime to incite some one, by words or action, to commit a felony?
Anyone interested in this kind of information should go to:
http://www.computerprivacy.com/ and also http://www.eff.org Russ is a
confused soul. On one hand he decries the "policing" of the Internet. On
the other, he reports Mike to authorities. There is policing on the
Internet, I'm one of them. I work in Information Security. Russ should
first find out who committed a crime and if a crime was committed by
carefully reading everything involved. Then, and only then will he be able
to rationally act on his idiotic conspiracy theories.

Hey Russ,

I realize that this is going to be hard for you to understand, but when
someone posts a message to a newsgroup, we can *all* see it. For that
reason, there is really no need to cut and paste into another message
and post it again. I'm sure this seems complicated to you, but think
real hard about it and maybe you can understand. Also, it's best not to
express such strong opinions about things you know nothing about and may
not have the capability to understand. I won't even try to explain why
that is, but it's good advice if you don't want to look like an idiot,
take my word for it.

If you want to talk about fishing, hang around. If you do, this Mike
vs. Gink thing will get a lot clearer to you right away.

You are right, we need Russ the Wonder Poodle policing the internet (actually
usenet clueless). If George has the freedom of speech (he doesn't this is
usenet, not America) then Mike has the freedom of speech, so thanks for
protecting us, but we'll manage just fine. George is a Jherkoff, we've
been dealing with him for years.

Do you fly fish? If not, you've heard the others about your rock.

Ain't no such thing as "freedom of speech" on usenet. Mike was well within his
right to complain to your ISP as are you to complain to his. When it comes down
to it, they will both get laughed off since neither is a real violation of most
acceptable use charters, but if worse came to worse, Mike would get 100's of
emails of support sent to his ISP while you would get nothing.

Don't push your stupidity on others, it's blatantly obvious here, no need
to broadcast it to the rest of the world.

Au contraire...ROFF needs all the help that it can get with a certain
head case from Washington State. If Mr. Connor actually did something
then I raise a glass of a fine three-two pale ale in his honor.

Actually, the complaint was about someone who's been a persistent
jerkass, not about his Free Speach. Maybe if you weren't one you could
see that too.
