My apologies first. I was fooling around with my email and hadn't planned on
sending a test message to ROFFT.
Yes, I did post a message about a rod that hasn't been delivered, yet. I did
get back in touch with the seller and followed up on the insurance claim which
presently is handled by the US Postal Service. I don't want to re-iterate the
whole sorry mess but essentially the US side is blaming the Canadian side and
vice versa on who did or did not respond to inquiries. Anyhow, I'll have to
wait it out and I'm positive I will eventually hold a replacement rod in my
hand.
Yes, I got interested in salmon fishing a while back. I also tie my own flies.
Unfortuanetly I never had a chance to get good at the salmon fishing game
before the salmon fishing took a serious nose dive in Nova Scotia. I'd love to
go to Labrador or NFLD or some good stream in Quebec or NB but money is a
problem for me, especially this year. So I may be trying the Margaree in the
fall. For now I try my hand at trout fishing in the spring, and bass fishing. I
had some good luck with shad this year.

Uh-oh... Now look what you've done. You have likely started a major
war.
