Get an old bath tub or suitable container, cover it so that if it rains the little boogers don't drown & give em something to eat once in awhile. Coffee grounds, mulched up paper mixed in the dirt, vegetable peels, etc. That's it unless your speaking of a commercial venture. Don't know about where you live but around here some worms leave little "dirt ball piles", (for lack of a better description) on top of the ground. Just poor a little gas on top of these piles & sit back & wait. You won't believe it but it works. later

ahhh. . . .Ham? Can you tap the 'enter' or 'return' key every 80
characters or so? Your messages are only one line, no matter how many
sentences you type. I don't want to miss part of your message, and
draggin that darn little slider box is a pain in the butt!

Good Fishin!

Get a plastic barrel and make a door in the side.
Keep it door side down most of the time, when you need some
worms, roll it door side up and there are your worms, right on
top.
Of course you want it filled with nice loam, and coffee grounds.

Hey Doc do you have wordwrap set on your reader? I am using Free Agent and I go
to the "article" menu option and click wordwrap....voila.....everything fits my
screen perfectly! I'll bet you can set your reader for that also if you check
it out.....good luck.

Hmmnn... I have posted this before...I think....I know it really works
for me....and I still havent seen a more healthy or larger night
crawler yet.....it really doesent matter what you use for a
container.......as long as it isnt metal...worms in metal never seem
to do as well......And just make sure you dont over water them or let
the rain get em...and you cant possibble go wrong.....fill your
container with good black potting soil....add some vermiculite....just
a little....1/2 cup per pound of potting soil......then add 1 cup of
peatmoss per 10 pounds of potting soil.....sprinkle the whole top with
yellow corn meal....mix thourghorly.......sprinkle with water
( lightly ) and add worms....they will reprouduce in about 6
weeks....your worms will be fatter...healthier....juicer and stronger
than any other worm you have ever seen....I guarentee It ! And I
wont post it ever again here... I learned this from a sporting good
store...when I was real young....they always had the biggest worms
around.....Now I do too :}
I really hope someone tries this and lets me know, how it went....
