I'm doing some research on a new persona. As my mundane studies have
been in the area of Russian lanuage, history, and culture, I'm going to
move to a Russian persona. The hard part, since I've been out of
university for a couple of years, is finding some good resources for
Russian costume. I'm specifically looking for late 15th-early 16th c.
clothes. (If it helps, that's Ivan III the Great to Ivan IV the
Terrible.) Any sources would be most helpful.

Also, if anyone knows of some good sources for that time period for
names, I'd be appreciative. I know the name I want to use (Gavril
Mikhailov) would have been period, because the names (Gavril and
Mikhail) went into use not too terribly long after Russia was
Christianized in the 10th c. It's just a matter of documentation.

Thanks to all in advance.

It isn't either costume or names, but if you aren't familiar with
Domostroi you might want to look at it. It's a late period (and parts
just post period) household management manual, with lots of interesting
stuff.
