Well, I'm just fishing for opinions from anyone who has had a chance to
personally examine and/or play with the katzbalger that CAS Ibera puts
out.

Thanks,

They're nice-looking. I haven't had a chance to test one in "real" use,
though. I also have no idea what steel they're made out of. A friend of
mine bought one, and it's a fairly nice accessory to his outfit.

Greetings. I am not an expert on swords or metalurgy etc..... I just worked
retail in a sword store. I enjoyed that blade...found the balance to be
excelent. a thin blade that smoothly cut through the air. In terms of
use...had we come across a problem customer who had been handed a sword...this
it the one I would grab to parry with...just a personal opinion....(not
inviting the typical flames that I always seem to attract.) But I like
it....but do shop around for price...And if you have any friends that have one,
or even get one yourself....a tax number...and buy it wholesale from Iberia.
will be min. half price of anywhere else...

Xaviar the exccentric.
