SCA-Interest Winter Book List 2000--something I post once in a while.
It's time to curl up with a good book, now that the weather outside is
frightful! Here is a list of books of interest to SCAdians and those with
an interest in medieval life, world history of that time, and associated
studies, into the Renaissance.
ISBN numbers have been given when available, but unfortunately it is not an
universal habit for book vendors to give these numbers in their listings.
These books should be available soon (if they aren't already) in most large
libraries. If your library does not have a book you see here, you can
probably request it be shipped to your library for a brief loan through
inter-library loan. Here in Pennsylvania, as it is in most places in the
US, that's a free or low-cost service to residents. Additionally they are
available from many other sources such as bookstores and through online
merchants such as Barnes Noble (bn.com) and Amazon.com.
Please feel free to pass this list along, whole or in part, to anyone or
any group that might find it useful.
Sincerely
Dame Aoife Finn (Yep, a Librarian)
