Nope. White Tail Park has recently decided *not* to renew their
affiliation with AANR. As I recall from reading my last camp bulletin,
the decision had something to do with AANR trying to impose its will
upon membership camps in certain areas. I will see if I can find that
issue of the news letter and then post the particulars.

It seems that with AANR trying some new items, many of the parks and clubs
are dropping their affiliation with them.. Is WTP going to stay with TNS
though??? I may try and stop by sometime next year (inpassing due to my 10
yr High School reunion in 1997)..

The only thing AANR did was to change the contract to three years. Things
seem to be getting better. Any club can decide, even in the middle of the
contract, to discontinue affiliation. I am aware of at least one who did that
when the contracts were
of shorter duration.
I'm only aware of 4 or 5 clubs out of 63 in the ESA who are not renewing.

Bob Roche, owner of White Tail Park, asked me to print this reply for him
since he is not currently on-line.
White Tail Park is currently an AANR park, as it has been for many years.
White Tail Park, as well as numerous other parks and clubs in many of the
regions, is currently in the process of negotiating a 1996 contract with
AANR.
AANR has agreed to extend the renewal date of the existing 1995 contract
for these clubs while the contract negotiations are pending.
White Tail Park is a family oriented resort located in Zuni, VA and can be
reached at 800-WTP-NUDE (800/987-6833).

Sounds smart from a club-owner's point of view. (short term good) Doesn't
sound all that great for running an association. (long term bad)
