This isn't the same as the coed locker room thread but some what related. In
high school in the early eighties there was a female PE teacher (she was in
here late '30s) who used to enter into the boys locker room. I never saw this
happen but people said it did. She would go there to talk to another PE
(male) teacher or something while there were nude boys showering and such.
Remember, this was high school and not all the boys were wimpy freshmen, there
were 17/18 year old senior jocks around so if she wanted to get thrills she
would have seen them. I'm not saying her motives were sexually oriented but
they could have been.

Now a question for you. Even though most of us are in favor of optional coed
locker rooms but what about a case as stated above? Should a female teacher
should be able to enter a boys locker room as above stated? Also, what if a
male PE teacher had entered into the female locker room do you think that would
have been tolerated? I know you don't know my school but in theory do you
think it would have been accepted for a male staff member to ender the girls
locker room just as the female teacher entered the male locker room?

Side note - At the gym I work out in sometimes on the PA system you will hear a
warning for the women in the locker room to cover up because a man will be
entering the locker room to fix something. You know some fix it guy. I don't
know if the women cover up or just don't mind a guy in their while they are
nude (changing or showering). Never have I heard an announcement for a women
fix it person entering into the male locker room. This is because there are no
female fix it people at my gym.

Have any of you any exprerience with teachers of the opposite sex entering your
high school locker room or any experience with fix it people of the opposite
sex entering your gym locker room? If so, did notice if the people using the
showers cover up or did they seem not to care that a member of the opposite
gender enter their terriotry?

I had a Dutch girlfriend for about 3 years and she used to tell me that in
her school there was a mixed changing room and shower facility for sports
classes, she also said that it did not bother her or the other girls as
there was 15 of them and only 3 boys in her class, the boys used to group
together and hide in the corner of the showers.

Hi when I was at school back in 1960s if the male gym teacher was off for
some reason the female gym teacher would cover for him. The showers where
communial and she they would stand there watching till all the boys had had
a shower. saying that so would the male teachers.
I had to do a job once in a womens toilet and a sign was put up men working
in toilet please use toilet in office, most of the women who came to use
them said to us that they could not be bothered to walk to the office and if
it did not bother us it did not bother them about us being there and just
went ahead and did what ever they had to do. We were changing a large water
heater.

Do the guys cover up when the cleaning lady is there or do they simply not care
if there is a woman there? Same for the women's side.

When I was in Junior High, the girl's gym teacher usually cut through the
boy's locker room after classes as a shortcut to the parking lot. The
locker room was usually empty, but occasionally a few stragglers, like me,
were still showering or changing. She always gaves us a pleasant good
night, and we replied likewise, and no one ever thought it was so terrible
that we were nude. This was 25 years ago. I doubt this could happen in
these crazy days.

Now that you mention it, I do recall daily visits to the boys locker room by the
office
clerk. She came each period to pick up the attendance report that hung on the wall
just
inside the locker room. To get it, she would have to enter the locker room and, in
doing
so, had an unobstructed view of the first two rows of lockers. This was during my
first
year in Junior High (also my first P.E. class - where showering was MANDITORY...and

an entirely new experience for me). A third of the way through the year, I was
moved to
the first row of lockers. Thereafter, I saw her almost every day. Sometimes I
would
already be dressed again. Sometimes I would be showering.....not ten feet away from
her.
I was still new to the idea of showering at school, and just figured that being
seen by her
was yet another "new experience" I would have to get used to.

We had a female "handyman" of sorts at the gym I joined when I first moved to town.
A
few of us dedicated folk would show up and begin working out at 5:00 every weekday
morning. Of the men there, I was the only one who actually showered there...before
going
to work. The first-shift employee was a lady in her mid thirties who would arrive
at
around 5:30. Besides giving us guys a hard time, her first task of the day was
dumping all
of the trash cans and damp mopping. By the time she got around to it, I was usually
back
in the locker room. When it came time to empty the can in the mens locker/shower
area,
more often than not, I would just be rinsing off the shampoo in the middle of an
open, 10'
x 10' shower that provided no cover at all. Her seeing me naked never really
bothered
me...and on a few occasions we actually talked as I stood there and dripped. If I
had any
attraction to her at all it might have been different.

Thats the closest I've ever come to being in a co-ed locker room.
