For women, total nudity can occasionally be observed, though you may
want to wear a slip or swimwear, if you want. Men don’t usually
undress completely and instead keep their towel wrapped around the
hips all the time.

Bullshit. I went to a nude beach at Foca Turkey back in 1980. Turks were
naked both men and women, as well as a plentitude of German tourists.

2/ It was about now, not 30 years ago

3/ It was about what is usual, not what is highly unusual.
