But now that I'm an Old Grand Dude, I find that I prefer those sweet,
young female voices that I had neglected then -- Chantays, Chiffons,
Shirells, Crystals, Cookies, Velvelettes, Ronettes, the Ganser Twins, et
cetera.
The voice of the Blessed Saint Dusty of Springfield can give me the chills.
Have any of you males of my cohort experienced a simlar change in
(aural) sexual orientation?
For which CURRENT female vocalists would you plunk down your money?

I'll have a special of her soon. Think you'll find it enjoyable! But,
yes, (most) Girl groups, because of age, didn't make it big, since they
had to go to school and could not tour!!!!!
I like any music, even silly Bubblegum to Big Band!

Please define "MTV generation" I watched a lot of it from '82-'91
As I've posted elsewhere, I turned 13 in 1968 & attended my 1st
concert that year (the Doors at the Chicago Coliseum). Saw the
Jefferson Airplane in Grant Park after the Mayor Daley/Chicago
Convention riots, The Stones in November of 1969 & The Who 8/19/1971.
Saw Elvis 4x between 1975 & 1977, 3 Ramones shows by 1980, Rod Stewart
(1976) KISS (Alive II tour) 3 Beach Boy shows (one had Billy Joel as
the opener)
That said, I spent most of the 70's discovering (& playing) the rock &
roll of the 50's
