A Geeta Dutt website has been put up on Google groups:
rec.music.indian.misc recently. All said and done, its magnificent and
helps music lovers and fans of Geeta Dutt to know aboutt her prolific
singing career.
To me, as a researcher of BCSP, the website lacks the 'essence of Geeta
Roy..her teen voice when she was about 15-18 years old. The website FAILS
to deliver that chunk of info.I do not criticize or blame anyone about
this part..its just a pointer for the website launcher to re-think over
the existence of such a possibility of Geeta Dutt ! Just imagine how
fabulous and striking would the website radiate to the entire world!
If I am not mistaken, Harminder 'Hamraz' was to publish an edition of
Geeta Dutt a year back or so. Profjee would be knowing more of this and
the present status of that edition.
Comments invited - criticisms welcomed!

Hi Jay ji
Thanks for the interest shown in our little tribute www.geetadutt.com
to beloved singer Geeta ji. Yes, the site seriously lacks information
on the young Geeta Roy, her songs from 1946-1953. This is partly due
to the fact that we did not find much information on her songs in this
era. The database does have some song listings from the firties, but
we seriously need more and more information on her early songs.
It will be great if the knowledgable members can contact us at
geetad...@gmail.com
We are planning to upgrade the site in a few months, so we can use
some more information to correctly represent her work as Geeta Roy
Thanks and Best Regards
