Sampson claims that this record was reworked into "Got You On My Mind."
This was not obvious to me.
I looked at Sampson's review because I was hoping he would say who the
bass player was. But he didn't, even though he described his (or her,
for all I know) performance as "mesmerizing." I don't know about
mesmerism, but I liked the bass playing a lot.
Overall, though, the record doesn't really hand together for me. I
wouldn't give it more than a 4.

Leroy Morrison was the bass player on several Thompson records but I'm
not sure if it is him here

I don't have it but maybe someone you know has Michel Ruppli's King
discography which would probably give the answer
